This Week in SSD Libraries:
First, I would like to extend a HUGE thank you to the community for sending good thoughts and best wishes to my family as we have tackled the challenge of new knees for our dog, Princess. Your positive vibes and the amazing support from the staff at my schools has made all the difference in helping all of us through her recovery. I have great news - she took her first unassisted steps this week! We still have a long way to go and she still needs a lot of support with getting up, going potty and stairs, but this is a very positive step in her recovery. THANK YOU from Princess, Mario and myself!
Important dates to note: check out is ending the last week of May so we can inventory our libraries. To help us with the most accurate inventory, please return your books to school no later than June 11th! Thanks for your help with this very important task!
All of our Spring orders are coming in from grant dollars we secured, Book Fairs you supported and successful community outreach/partnerships - it is an exciting time in our libraries. We have books coming out of our ears and that is a good problem to have--we love putting new books on the shelves for our students! Thank you for your support throughout the year to make this Book Joy possible!
